Questions about Right Ride

- What is Right Ride?
- Right Ride (rightride.in) is your friendly car expert for buying a car in India. You answer six quick questions. Right Ride picks the cars that fit you, shows the on-road price for your state and gives you an honest verdict on each one, the bad bits included.
- How does Right Ride pick cars for me?
- It asks six quick questions: the kind of car (small car, sedan or SUV), your budget, fuel, automatic or manual, what you want the car to do for you, and where you live. Then it ranks every car on sale against your answers. If you want to "just get from A to B", value and mileage count most. If you want to "feel like you've made it", features and comfort lead. Each car shows how well it fits.
- Is Right Ride free?
- Yes. It is free to use and you do not need to sign up or share your name, phone number or email.
- Are the rankings sponsored?
- No. Right Ride is independent and not affiliated with any carmaker or dealer. Nobody pays to rank higher. Cars are ranked only on how well they fit what you told us.
- Where do the prices come from?
- Ex-showroom prices come from each maker's official India website and are refreshed every week. On-road prices add road tax, registration, insurance, FASTag and TCS for your state, so you know the real price before you walk into a showroom. Always confirm the final price with your dealer before booking.
- What is "Your Right Variant"?
- Most cars come in many variants. Pick the features you must have and Right Ride finds the cheapest variant that has all of them. Usually that is not the top variant.
- How do I compare cars on Right Ride?
- Add up to three cars to compare. Right Ride shows only what differs between them, so you are not reading 200 rows that are the same. It also marks which car has more of your must-haves.
- Does Right Ride cover every car in India?
- Yes, every car on sale in India: 221 models and 1,586 variants from 28 brands. New launches and price changes are added every week.
- How does Right Ride show safety?
- Each car shows its crash-test star rating from ASEAN NCAP, Bharat NCAP or Global NCAP, and how many airbags each variant has. Cars that have not been crash-tested are clearly marked.
- Where do the expert verdicts come from?
- Expert scores, likes and dislikes, real-world mileage and review videos come from leading Indian motoring sites. Right Ride brings them together on one page, so you do not need 47 tabs open.
- Can I book a test drive?
- Yes. Each car page lists showrooms near you, nearest first, with a link to book a test drive on the maker's own website.
- What do you do with my location?
- Your location is used only in your browser, to show on-road prices for your state and sort showrooms by distance. You can choose your state instead if you prefer.
